World War 1

I am a twenty year old, white male from Germany, my family is a part of the middle class and I have strong feelings of the strength of my country. Germany must take a stand against foreign enemies, the eneimies must understand the power of Germany, I will do whatever I can for my country to make sure that we come out on top. I strongly believe we will win this.

Hitlers Impact

Hitler had a major impact on history. We continue to learn about him today and all that he did. He was able to unite Germany after WW1. Him being a strong political figure helped the Germans have faith in their country. His political beliefs united Germany, but caused massive destruction and deaths.

Female Factory Laborer

Female laborers had many roles in society. Besides working in factories they also had the burdens of regular chores. They had to take care of household chores and taking care of the children. The positive things of this was that they helped provide for the family. This helped the way the women could work along with others, but working in the factories caused many health problems. I believe that it was bad but at the same time it helped provide for the family.

Peasants Grievances during French Revolution

During the french revolution, the peasants felt that they were not being treated fairly. Food shortages were a result of the National Assembly. The Great Assembly created a law abolishing the powers of the right to compel peasants to labor for landlords.Along with abolishing bondage, tithes for the church were abolished. The peasants demand the right to represent themselves, rights of man of the citizen, freedom of speech. This will make the peasants happier and give them more freedom.

Columbus

Is Christopher Columbus a hero, villian, or a regular guy? I believe Columbus is a hero even though he did not supposedly discover America. He was always known as the first to discover America but as time goes on the story seems to change, "Was he really the first to discover America?" Nobody knows for sure whether or not he was the first but it is still a question that is trying to be answered. His expedition was a huge part of history because it gave a lot of people hope that he was going to be able to discover America. It took a lot of time and money to pay for the voyage and to know if he really discovered America first leaves a lot of people wondering. Even though he might not of discovered America I think that the voyage makes him a hero because of all he went through. He dealt with people dying on the ships, money is always an issue. They had to make sure that they had enough supplies to make it through the journey to find America.
